This Privacy Policy describes how VoteMobi App developed by Orivios Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information. VoteMobi is strictly an internal election campaign tool, used only by authorized campaign members.

By using this App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Voter Information

We import voter data from official government voter lists, which may include:

Name
House name / house details
Address
Phone number (if included in campaign records)
Booth details
House visit status
Voting day status
Notes or remarks added by campaign workers

We do NOT collect or store voter photos.
Campaign members cannot upload images of voters.

1.2 Voice Recordings

Authorized team members can upload audio notes for a specific house or voter.

Voice recordings are stored securely on our backend server.
They are used only for internal communication, house visits, and coordination.

We do not use voice recordings for:

Advertising
Public sharing
Monitoring personal conversations
Background recording

1.3 User Account Information

Admin creates user accounts (phone number + password) through a dashboard.
We collect:

Phone number
Password (encrypted)
Basic login metadata

Users may change their password anytime.

1.4 Device & Usage Information

We may collect limited non-personal information such as:

Device type
OS version
Basic activity logs for debugging
App crash reports

We do not collect:

Personal files
Photos/videos
GPS location (unless manually entered)

2. How We Use the Information

Information is used only for the internal functioning of the campaign, including:

Voter list management
House visit tracking
Team coordination
Updating voting status
Filtering voter lists
Calling voters directly from the app
Storing voice notes for internal communication

Voice recordings are strictly used for:

Audio notes
House visit documentation

3. Storage & Security

Data (including voice recordings) is stored on a secure custom backend server.
We use:

Encrypted communication (HTTPS)
Secure password storage
Access controls based on user roles
Restricted database access

Only authorized team members have access to voter information.
While we use industry-standard methods, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

4. Permissions We Request

4.1 Microphone Permission

Used only when the user intentionally records a voice note. We do NOT:

Record in the background
Access the microphone without action
Monitor conversations

4.2 Call Permission

Used to allow direct calling of voters from within the app.
We do NOT:

Track call logs
Record calls
Store call history

4.3 Internet Permission

Used for:

Syncing data
Uploading voice recordings
Login and authentication

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT:

Sell data
Share data with advertisers
Share data with third parties

Data is shared only with:

Authorized campaign administrators
If required by law or legal process

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain:

Voter data
Voice notes
Visit history
User account details

Data is kept only for the duration of the election campaign or organizational use.

Data Deletion

Only the campaign admin can request deletion of voter data or voice recordings.
Upon admin request, data will be deleted from our server.

7. Children’s Privacy

VoteMobi is not intended for individuals under 13 years.
If such data is discovered, we will delete it upon admin request.

8. Third-Party Services

VoteMobi does not use:

Third-party ads
Analytics SDKs
Tracking tools

If any external integrations are added in the future, this policy will be updated.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted inside the app or through official communication channels.
